The yacht called for assistance 17 miles NE of Caister he had reported rigging problems, the lifeboat arrived on scene and put J Delf onboard on closer inspection it was found that the mast had dropped. A tow rope was connected and a course set for Yarmouth. The lifeboat towed the yacht to Goodchild Marine.
