A small fishing boat broke down approximately 8 miles off Great Yarmouth. Two crew on board.

The Offshore lifeboat was sent to assist. Crew were Richard Thurlow, Tommy Williams, Alex Low and Marcus Brown.

Assistant Coxswain Tommy went aboard the casualty to see if it was possible to repair the engine so that the boat could return under its own steam. This was not possible so the boat was towed back to Caister.
