Call for Inshore help
2 July 2011

A 999 call from the public resulted in the crew being called to the Skipper Woodhouse Shed on Saturday afternoon. A female was reported in difficulties
whilst swimming in the sea about one mile south of Caister. She was being battered by the surf and onlookers were distressed that she was unable to return to the shore.

The Inshore boat was hitched to the tractor and ready to go. The crew suited up and as the boat began its race to the waters edge a call to the Coxwain informed him that with the help of others the female was safe on shore again.

As usual a tremendous effort and response from the crew to action the call-out.
