Young Woman in Trouble
13 September 2011

Time: 13:50 - 14:10

Jim Davidson ILB
The ILB was launched at approximately 13.55 to a young Woman in trouble off the North Beach Great Yarmouth. The boat headed South a
t top speed in the direction of Yarmouth. The girl was about 200 metres off the beach and suffering from the effects of the cold. The crew pulled her on board and sped back to Caister. She was carried ashore and stretchered up the beach to the shed. The Paramedics arrived shortly afterwards and then an Ambulance took her to Hospital for a check up.

She was very lucky. Well done to the person on the Beach who called the Coastgaurd. Well done to the Coastgaurd for calling Caister ALB so promptly, well done to the Crew for responding so quickly and the Paramedics for caring for her on shore. Team work all the way.

Another Life Saved.

Crew were: Helm Richard Miles, Crewmen Marcus Brown, Crewman Jonathon Hawkeye Banyard (who spotted her in a heavy down pour) and driving the Tractor Assistant Coxswain Tommy Williams.
