Yesterday, 24/06/2021, Caister lifeboat crews pagers went off at 18:06, by 18:14 the Caister lifeboat 'Bernard Matthews II' was in the water heading north.

Humber coastguard had tasked them to attend to a yacht with reported engine problems 5 miles off Sea Palling. 

The yacht was taken under tow to Great Yarmouth harbour. Once the yacht was safely moored Humber coastguard stood the crew down. Caister lifeboat returned to the lifeboat station at 21:32.
