Caister Lifeboat was called to a yacht in difficulty 3 miles of Winterton. At present she is towing the Yacht Zigzu towards Lowestoft harbour. She was a 37 foot vessel 13 tonne, her water pipe had broken and with no spare pipe they were unable to run the engine without filling the boat with sea water. As there was no wind they didn't even have the option of sail power.

Yacht and crew were safely delivered to Lowestoft Harbour and the Lifeboat returned to station considerbly quick than the tow to Lowestoft. Back on station approx 17.45.

Crew are Coxswain Paul Williams, Tommy Williams, Aaron Thurlow, Greg Carter and Paul Garrod(Chairman). Tractor Driver for Launch was Richard Miles and Ali Brown recovered.
