Where were the divers?

The New Inshore lifeboat was launched earlier tonight to investigate a "Speed boat" which had been observed by the Caister Coastwatch Look-Out duty offi
cer at the Station "not underway". The vessel was about 3 miles off shore.

The Coastguard felt it necessary to find out what was going on since the vessel had been in one spot for some time (Nearly an hour.)and could not be raised by radio.Tommy Williams and Andrew Hewitt launched and sped off out to sea. All's well that ends well.......the boat was being used by a group of divers who were all found safe and well!

They had a slipping anchor and they were awaiting slack tide to enable them to dive.

And then to wash down and clean up the boat ready for next time.
