Vessel reported with two persons aboard appeared to be in difficulty just north of Hemsby lifeboat station.

The lifeboat proc
eeded to Hemsby in heavy weather and carried out a search of the area based on the limited information of the casualty. The only vessel in the area was a 24m survey vessel Resolute, which was at anchor. HMG confirmed they has spoken to this vessel; they were fine and had not seen any other vessel in the area needing assistance.

Winterton Alpha was tasked by HMG to speak to first informer, who then via the coastguard directed the lifeboat to the vessel in question which in turn turned out to be the Resolute. Following this being establishe the lifeboat was stood down at 12:56.

Due to bad weather the lifeboat was beached at North Yarmouth opposite the old Iron Duke pub.
