The lifeboat was called out last night. We were tasked with looking for a 14ft sailing dinghy spotted just before dark by the coast watch. We searched for approx 1 and a half hours off the caister area launching several white para flares to help with vision. We were then sent back to station by the coastguards with nothing found.
