Caister independent Lifeboat was called to assist the Mundesley Independent Lifeboat which had the RIB Henry under tow bound for Lowestoft.

They were on passage from Wells to Lowestoft when they suffered total engine failure.

We were on scene off Happisburgh at 17.40 and Mundesley handed the Tow over to the Caister Lifeboat which then preceeded to Lowestoft Arriving in the Harbour at 20.40. Lifeboat then returned to Station and was ashore and back on station by 21.30.

Richard Thurlow took the Helm Crew were Tommy Williams, Andrew Hewitt, Paul Garrod, Marcus Brown and Aston Lowe.

Tractor drivers were Bob Brown and Owen Nutt.
