The Inshore lifeboat was launched during the Annual Fete to assist and recover two persons on an inflatable being blown away from the shore a short distance from the lifebaot shed.

The alarm was raised by alert members of Coast Watch who now occupy the lookout over the old shed

The swimmers were returned safely to shore.
